Luis Gonzalez (they/them/he/she) is enlightened to be in York University’s 2023’s Devised Theatre Festival. Being a first year, Luis has had the honour to perform alongside Eye of Life Productions by being an extra in the 2023 DT production Organic Matter, as well as play the role of Caleb. Based out of Toronto, Luis has been acting for around five years, mainly acting in school productions and short films. Luis aspires to become a Theatre Creator, not just focusing on performance but also in directing and even dabbling in set design. Luis plans to enlighten the world on social-economic issues by spreading awareness on topics that they find important through Theatre and activism.
