Kate Counsel is an performer, deviser, technician, and playwright from Ottawa, Ontario. She is studying towards a BFA in Theatre from York University specializing in Devised Theatre and Playwriting. Self-identifying a a jack of all trades, Kate loves all aspects of storytelling and creation and loves to be involved with all she can. As a performer and deviser, her includes performances in Mirror with the Paprika Festival, Story Holder with Audiotheatrica, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Vanier College Productions. As playwright, relevant works include Descent with Past Lives Productions, and Bridges that received a stage reading at York University. She would like to extend an enormous thank you to her classmates, and professors in DT.
